Instruction

Julie is a well respected instructor in several music disciplines, including; Jazz piano skills, music theory, performance techniques, voice, composition, and the development of skills on numerous instruments. She has been privileged to work with such notables as Norah Jones, Sandra Kaye, Carolyn Jones, Amy Abbott (American Chills), Mark Love, Matt Mixa, and many other talented artists during her twenty plus year career in music education. Applicants for private lessons must have prior music training and be motivated toward achieving goals. She rarely accepts students under the age of 14 unless talent or recommendations indicate an exception should be made. At home instruction is available on a limited basis, or potential students can apply for space available instruction at Julie's studio in Lewisville.
